About Us
125 Years of New Home Construction Expertise in Baltimore
Our company has been at the forefront of new home construction, additions and renovations in Baltimore since 1902. Current owner Rick Batton was born and raised in Towson, MD and reared in the home building trade; he has worked for the business since returning to Towson in 1979 from college in New England.
Rick’s son Kyle has continued the tradition of working for the family business. This fourth and fifth generation are still modeling their home construction business on the success of their predecessors. Our mission is about more than just building new homes – it’s about building relationships; a client had us construct his retirement home with the same caring attitude and attention to detail that Rick’s father had displayed in building the gentleman’s first home many years ago.
Although our history speaks for itself, other factors have also contributed to the success of the company. The loyalty and professionalism of our employees, subcontractors and materials suppliers are definitely a positive force. Many of our team members have worked for us for years, further contributing to a high level of efficiency and trust on every project.
We pride ourselves in the realization that when we finish a project, we have gained a new friend. We welcome the opportunity to quote you a competitive bid on any size new construction or renovation project in the Baltimore area, including Fallston and Pikesville.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
4th, 3rd & 5th Generations
Our work ranges from small to large home renovations, including Aging in Place and home fire restorations, to 28,000 square feet custom homes. We have built in many locations, ranging from Baltimore, Harford, Howard, Montgomery, and Anne Arundel Counties to Baltimore City, Gibson Island and the Eastern Shore. Staying competitive and doing a good job is a balance that can’t be sacrificed. Knowing the construction business in every minute detail allows the diversity that ensures constant work.
“We pride ourselves in the realization that when we finish a project, we have gained a new friend.”
