Oyster Bay

Fire Restoration Waterfront: Oyster Bay

This 5,000 square foot house was built in the 1700s on the Chesapeake Bay near the entrance to the Little Choptank River. Tragically it burned to the ground in an electrical fire. We worked with the owner and our architect to reproduce the original house. The exterior is Hardi Plank siding with brick grade and brick chimneys. There are multiple interior fireplaces and wood floors throughout. The main stairway and rails were featured in the historic book, Between the Nanticoke and the Choptank: An Architectural History of Dorchester County, Maryland.
